Gnop
Gnop is just a multiplayer modern version of ancient game Pong, played simultaneously on five screens. The camps are separated by colored areas, the trail left behind the ball goes through the screens and small particles are emitted when the ball collides with the walls and the rackets. On each screen a text of three lines shows the way to play.
Gnop is a project carried out by five students of multimedia (CRMA) at Paris Gobelins School: François Chay (designer), Leo Cheron (software developer), Gregory Divaret (software developer), David Miège (designer) and Paul Orzoni (sound designer). Gnop was presented during the Open Days of the school last March.
Last information: Gnop will be at the Festival International du Graphisme de Chaumont (from 16 May to 14 June 2009) in the "Source Code" exhibition concocted by Étienne Mineur.
